(Photo by bubblesandbugs)It is a paradise for divers and snorkelers who love incredible underwater sceneries and stunning natural beauty.

(Photos by sunphol)The Similans are a group of nine small islands, 90 km northwest of Phuket, in the Andaman Sea and are rated one of the best sites for diving in the world. The water is a clear turquoise-blue and a rich marine life. The west of Similan islands is a reef zone known among divers as "Burma Banks" where you can find leopard sharks, hammerheads, bull sharks, whale sharks, lionfish, manta rays, stonefish, giant sea turtles and some strange creatures.
