This market has huge variety of goods for sale from foodstuffs to antiques, and from plant to Traditional Thai wooden furniture.Food stalls and beverage stalls are everywhere and this market also has massage booths too.
Chatuchak is a paradise for shoppers from all around the world, usually very hot and crowded, but the experience is worth it.
The quality of products is high but the prices are low and you can use your bargaining skills.

At Chatuchak Park on Kamphaeng Phet 1 Road , Kamphaeng Phet 2 Road, Kamphaeng Phet 3 Road and Phaholyothin Road, near the Northern Bus Terminal ( Mochit ), Bangkok, Thailand.

Tips for shopping at Chatuchak Weekend Market
- It's best to come early to avoid the heat and crowds.
- If you don’t want to get lost then get a free map first!, at Information Center, gate 1.
- Read map and remember some details before you enter.The clock tower in the middle of the market (between section 16 and section 17) , is the easiest place to find.
- Information Center is in section 27.
- Section numbers are on top of the section buildings.
- Don't forget to try out your bargaining skills and your negotiation.
- No smoking in the market (2,000 baht for offenders) but the smoking area is in section 27 (opposite section 25, see map).
- All facilities are in section 27, such as money exchange booths, ATM machines, bathrooms, tourist police station and Information center.
- Be careful with your wallet or purse, like many places in the world, there are some pick-pockets in a crowded place.
- If you are having problems and need help, then go to tourist police station in section 27 or go to TG Support Unit "Smiley station" at the entrance of Kamphaeng Phet 3 Road near section 6 (see the map), they wear white shirt with police logo and they speak English very well.
- A few hours is not enough time to explore Chatuchak , you need a whole day for shopping in this place!
- Shipping and Packing companies are in Chatuchak Market section 7.When you think of oversea products shipping, one of them is Bangkok Parcel Service.
